Scattering candle
Scattering candle is an installation that is designed for the disposal of emergency discharges of gases and vapors by dispersion; SC is used in the disposal of gas and vapor discharges from safety valves installed on vessels and apparatus operating with media that are not explosive and harmful substances, as well as in the discharge of light gases (methane, natural gas and hydrogen-containing gas with a ratio of gas density to density air not more than 0.8); general view of SC is shown in Figure 1.
