Measuring and regulating units (BMR) are designed for automatic on-line measurement of the mass (volume) of the consumed gas; distributing it for its intended purpose. BMRs are part of oil treatment plants, Pre-drainage plant or other surface installations of oil and gas companies.

The BMR includes the following equipment:

input filter unit;
unit for measuring the amount of gas with flow meters (volume or mass);
drainage system from pipelines;
block box or base frame;
instrumentation.

Block-boxes are equipped with heating, ventilation, gas control and fire alarm sensors.
Upon separate request, the BMR is completed with a specialized device for processing data from primary transducers of flow, humidity, temperature, and pressure installed in the BMR.
