High-GOR Oil Separation Units

High-GOR oil separation units are designed to provide initial water separation  and degassing of oil with a high gas-oil ratio (from 200 to 2000 m3/t) and can be installed at well pads or upstream of Booster Pump Stations, Oil Treatment Units and multi-phase pump stations.

Equipment Configuration

The separation section comprises an internal cyclone separator designed to separate the liquid and gas phases, and a holding tank. 
The inlet cyclone separator strips out up to 99% of free gas and drains the separated liquid to a holding tank for subsequent separation including preliminary dewatering under suitable characteristics of the oil-water emulsion.
High-GOR oil separation unit is supplied as a frame-mounted unit including all the piping, a service platform, isolation valves and process control instruments.
The size of the unit and the capacity of the holding tank will be selected depending on the required processing capacity, the physical and chemical characteristics of oil and stratal water.
All metering and control equipment is available as both locally operated (if no power supply is available) and electrically operated equipment. The unit is dismountable, pre-fabricated unit supplied as fully pre-assembled modules.
