Chambers for launching and receiving cleaning and diagnostic tools (SOD) are designed for periodic launching into the pipeline and receiving from it in-line flaw detectors, cleaning pigs and other flow tools. The chambers are equipped with a bayonet end lock and a mechanical signaling device for the passage of the SOD.

The chambers are additionally equipped with a lifting mechanism, a table for extracting a cleaning device, a hook, a pan for collecting oil sludge and a winch for reeving.
